How Dungeons & Dodgers got started.
Dungeons & Dodgers soft-opened on July 8, 2018 at 1214 Central Avenue. The shop grew out of a lifelong interest in gaming and comics and a need for a local place built around those hobbies.
As the store and its events grew, the original location no longer had enough room for gaming. Dungeons & Dodgers moved to 1018 Central Avenue, where the larger space made room for more retail and in-store play.
The name combines Dungeons & Dragons with the Fort Dodge Dodgers, making the Fort Dodge connection part of the shop from the beginning.
