Terms of Service
Last updated: July 18, 2026
These Terms of Service govern use of the Dungeons & Dodgers website and purchases made through it. By using the website or completing checkout, you agree to these terms and to the policies linked through the website and checkout.
About This Website
Dungeons & Dodgers is primarily an in-store game, hobby, comic, video game, and collectibles retailer located at 1018 Central Ave in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The website is focused on event tickets, digital gift cards, selected preorders, and occasional featured offers. It does not represent our complete in-store inventory.
Eligibility and Account Information
You must have the legal ability to enter into a purchase or have authorization from a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for providing accurate contact, billing, recipient, and pickup information and for maintaining the security of any customer account or order confirmation.
Prices, Availability, and Errors
Prices and availability may change without notice. We may limit quantities, correct typographical or pricing errors, refuse an unlawful or fraudulent transaction, or cancel an order that cannot be fulfilled. When we cancel a paid order because of our error or inability to fulfill it, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.
Final-Sale Merchandise and Defective Games
Most merchandise is final sale. The limited exception for defective video game discs and cartridges, including the seven-day deadline and receipt requirement, is described in the Refund, Event Ticket & Preorder Policy.
Event Reservations
Event tickets reserve limited seats and are subject to the published event details, capacity, conduct rules, cancellation terms, transfer rules, check-in deadline, and no-show policy.
Dungeons & Dodgers may remove or refuse admission to a participant whose conduct is unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, harassing, or materially interferes with the event or other customers. Removal for misconduct does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Preorders
Preorders are final and non-cancellable by the customer. We use customer requests and paid preorders to make purchasing and allocation decisions. Customers must collect available preorders within seven calendar days after the first availability notification. An unclaimed preorder may be returned to store inventory, and the amount paid will be issued as store credit rather than returned to the original payment method.
Release dates and allocations are controlled by manufacturers and distributors and may change. If we cannot fulfill a preorder, we will refund the applicable payment to the original payment method.
Gift Cards and Store Credit
Digital gift cards and eligible store credit may be redeemed for qualifying purchases through Shopify checkout or at Dungeons & Dodgers. Gift cards are final once issued, do not expire, and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Customers are responsible for protecting gift-card codes from unauthorized use.
Digital Delivery and Pickup
Event registrations and digital gift cards are delivered electronically. Selected merchandise and preorders are generally for in-store pickup unless a listing expressly offers shipping. Additional details appear in the Digital Delivery & In-Store Pickup Policy.
Third-Party Platforms
The website may link to Facebook, Instagram, TCGplayer, eBay, Whatnot, and other third-party services. Purchases, accounts, communications, and activity on those services are governed by the third party's own terms and policies. Dungeons & Dodgers does not control those platforms.
Website Use
You may not use the website to violate law, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, transmit malicious code, misuse another person's information, or engage in fraudulent activity.
Disclaimer and Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided without guarantees that access will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Dungeons & Dodgers is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from website interruption or third-party platform activity. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms and related policies to reflect changes in our operations, products, events, or legal obligations. The version posted at the time of a purchase applies to that transaction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa and applicable federal law, without limiting any rights that cannot be waived.
Dungeon Guild Pass Terms
The Dungeon Guild Pass is a recurring membership offered by Dungeons & Dodgers for $20 per month.
Following each successful monthly membership payment, the active member receives $10 in Dungeon Guild Credit. Guild Credit accumulates and carries forward when unused. Guild Credit cannot be used to pay for the Dungeon Guild Pass itself, postage, or protective-packaging charges.
Active Dungeon Guild members receive access to the Manage Comics pull-list system and free bags and boards for approved new single-issue comics obtained through their Dungeon Guild pull list. Additional birthday, milestone, member-only, or promotional rewards apply only when Dungeons & Dodgers publishes a specific active offer.
Comic selections submitted through Manage Comics are requests until reviewed and approved by Dungeons & Dodgers. Requests remain subject to publisher allocations, distributor availability, final order cutoff dates, damages, cancellations, and other availability limitations.
Approved pull-list comics will be billed when the comic merchandise subtotal reaches $100 before Guild Credit, tax, shipping, and protective-packaging charges, or at the end of the applicable monthly ordering period, whichever occurs first.
Customers are responsible for the cost of their comics, applicable taxes, postage, and protective packaging.
Members may cancel their Dungeon Guild Pass to prevent future renewals. Cancellation stops future membership charges and future membership benefits but does not cancel or remove responsibility for comics or other merchandise that the member previously requested and Dungeons & Dodgers already approved or committed to ordering.
Comic shipping for Dungeon Guild members begins August 1, 2026 and is currently limited to United States addresses.
These Dungeon Guild Pass Terms supplement the other policies and terms published by Dungeons & Dodgers.
